About

I am Anika, the person behind the flowers, a qualified florist with over 10 years experience.

I came to my love of flowers at a very young age, spending time with my grandparents in our garden, with dogs in tow. I learnt a lot of what I know from my grandmother, observing and absorbing as she collected and created arrangements for the house. Her mother, my great grandmother used to say flowers bring the outside in, a beautiful sentiment that has stuck with me.  These memories are where I draw my strength and inspiration from.

I chose the name Catchlove Flowers, a family name, to honour the strong women in my life and our family.

Each piece is unique; each different from the next. Individually woven with thought and care from our Preston studio in Naarm, Melbourne. Sustainability is at the forefront of all creations, using homegrown, locally grown and foraged botanicals. All products used are natural, recycled and sustainable – so that means no wire, floral foam, plastic tape, dyes, glue or paint. Making most pieces 100% compostable!

I have a deep love for all that nature has to offer, I acknowledge my privilege in being able to live and work on the stolen Wurundjeri Woiwurrung lands of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge the traditional custodians of land, waterways and skies. I pay my respects to Elders past and present. Sovereignty has never been ceded.
